Sharon Heimbecker

Sharon Heimbecker · President

Sharon is our illustrious president, Photoshop guru, bookkeeping & accounting department at UDG. She started doing illustration & design as a student at Tom C. Clark HS in San Antonio. Then went on to earn a degree from the Art Institute of Houston. Sharon is the elder of the group (which you wouldn't know by all the toys on her desk) with tons of experience in everything from printing to trade shows — photography to art direction.

Sharon lives out in the country to decompress from the hustle and bustle of the advertising world. She has two grown children that are very close to her. When she isn’t working (which is like always!), she likes to sneak off and travel whether it be down the road to the Beach or across the globe to Germany.

Jennifer Dennis

Jennifer Dennis · Vice President & Senior Graphic Designer

Jennifer is a San Antonio native, so naturally she’s a big fan of air conditioning and iced tea. She’s a graphic artist and type guru, but most importantly a mom to two wonderful teens. She loves monster movies, Food Network, HGTV and her two malta-poos, Sniffle and Rascal.

Jennifer graduated from the Art Institute of Houston many years ago (more than she’d like to admit). Her main focus at UDG is ‘The Wedding Guide,’ a quarterly, 400+ page publication for which her responsibilities are project management, publication layout, ad design and generally everything.

When she’s not running to art shows or band concerts, she loves sitting on the beach or just hanging out at home with her husband… in the air conditioning.

Aleshia Mayo

Aleshia Mayo · Vice President & Senior Graphic Designer

Aleshia Mayo is partner and senior designer at Uppercase where her love for typography and white space are hands down her favorite design elements. Before settling down in San Antonio, she attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS where she earned a BFA in Graphic Design. Her favorite Pantone color is 630, or maybe it’s Warm Gray 8, playing Scrabble, dabbling in interior design, and is a huge NPR fan. Aleshia lives in San Antonio, is married to her high school sweetheart and loves her two little boys to the moon and back! While she loves Texas, she will always call herself a Kansan.

Danielle Heredia

Danielle Heredia · Graphic Designer
Danielle Heredia openly admits it: she does judge a book by its cover. Danielle often bases her purchasing decisions on standout typography and unique package design (and isn’t that the kind of designer you want for your business?). This born and raised Texas girl is a recent graduate of the Art Institute of San Antonio. Outside the UDG nest, Danielle can be found hanging out with family, sampling craft beer or pursuing her love of cars. You might also see her hitting the trail: Danielle and her fiancé recently took up mountain biking and ride almost every day. “I’m completely hooked and obsessed,” she confesses.
